Helpful Tidbits

Where are you located?

We are located within Inclusive Aesthetics in the Park, at the Normandy Park Towne Center, available by appointment by clicking here.

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Schedule an appointment using our online scheduler through EZDerm using the widget on the bottom right side of this page (click “Request Appointment”), or shoot us a text at 206-929-4707. Please make sure to complete all forms on the patient portal (called SADIO) prior to your appointment.

We encouraged our patients to reach out to us by text or phone call at 206-929-4707 if you are having any issues with scheduling or forms required —we’ll walk you through the scheduling process and answer any questions along the way, prior to and following your first visit.

Do you take medical insurance?

We do not directly bill medical insurance at this time, but are happy to provide a detailed receipt (“superbill”) for you to submit to your insurance directly for reimbursement for your payments (as outlined in your plan). We do take FSA/HSA, and can assist with paperwork to submit to your FSA/HSA plan for supportive documentation if desired.

Nightingale Dermatology operates as an out-of-network provider at this time, which allows us the opportunity to create a treatment plan based on your goals — not insurance limitations.

Please note that due to health insurance legal regulations, we cannot accept self payment from Medicare patients at this time. Stay tuned if you are a Medicare patient looking for care with this clinic, as we may be able to offer this in the near future.

Do I need a referral?

Nightingale Dermatology does not require a referral for care, but greatly welcomes coordination of patient care with your primary care provider.

Does Nightingale Dermatology perform surgeries in clinic?

Small procedures are performed in clinic, such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and injections. Larger procedures such as skin cancer excisions, lipoma removals, and nail matrix biopsies will be referred to a recommended specialist within the field for further treatment as indicated.

Cosmetic removal of moles will also be referred to a plastic surgeon for additional cosmetic treatment options.

Are virtual appointments available?

Virtual appointments are available for limited conditions for follow up patients only.

Please reach out with any questions regarding whether or not a virtual appointment is appropriate for your specific situation.
